Graphite, charcoal, pastel and pigments on Nepali and Somerset paper ca. 66"x35"
In this drawing I was deliberately referencing the Renaissance tradition of drawing with multiple tones (beginning with Sanguine) on prepared paper. The main part of the figure is executed on heavy Nepali paper whose texture closely evokes the texture of skin.
